ABOUT
¡Hola! I'm a versatile and multi-disciplinary graphic designer from the Dominican Republic, now based in New York City. I have a BFA in Graphic Design from Western Michigan University and have worked as a Graphic Designer in NYC for 4 years. With a diverse background spanning environmental graphic design, print, branding, photography, project management, and more, my approach to design is deeply rooted in functionality and meaning. I thrive on diving into multiple layers to unveil conceptual solutions that leave a lasting impact.
I have many passions that I love to incorporate into my work whenever possible including illustration, lettering, cooking, and even crochet. These passions have been continuously recognized and featured in multiple platforms and projects such as Type 01 (formerly FemmeType), Periods for Periods (a 2022 Clio Award Winner) by Rethink Communications and Typism. In 2019, I started a jams and preserves company, Sofia's, with my mother in which we’ve been able to share our passions for cooking (and design!) with our community.
I'm always looking for ways to continue being involved in the design and arts community, I'm open to any new opportunities. Please reach out via email with any inquiries; I'd love to chat more.
